AWESOME.

Rumbling, syncopated thunder and sheet after sheet of destructive metal lightning were the basic elements of the Whip's powerful sound. This is the debut single, and only official recorded material by by this unfortunately short-lived group. And for heavy tunes, it's frankly a timeless, merciless heavy duty couple of tracks here.

This band reconvened two thirds of Karp (Scott Jernigan and Jared Warren) and 100% of Thrones (Joe Preston) to heavy- thunder itself into our universal conscious, and we were never the same. Shortly after forming, starting to play out and tour, Scott Jernigan died in a boating accident and the world lost one of its most gifted drummers. At total fest XIV, in 2015, Joe and Jared played the two Whip 7" songs with Big Business drummer Coady Willis. It was amazing. Here's some footage of that.
